My Brother is Getting Married

When your younger brother gets married, it can't pass quietly — especially when your brother is the production manager of your studio. Oren, my brother, my right hand, the one who knows how to drive me crazy until smoke comes out of my ears, but is always there for me through thick and thin and won't give up until everything is perfect.

Throughout the past year, watching Oren and Lotam (the bride) anxiously following the fate of their wedding, my heart went out to them. I empathized with the feeling of uncertainty and worried alongside them.

At first, the uncertainty was due to COVID-19 itself and the restrictions it brought. After we started returning to some semblance of routine, the security situation arose, close to home. And again — anxiety, cancellations, and uncertainty. Fortunately, relative calm returned and the wedding took place, full of love and joy.

COVID restrictions moved more events outdoors, into nature — whether in parents' backyards, vineyards, or orchards. Events became intimate, with a small number of guests, those closest to the bride and groom. The design style used what was already available — a connection to nature, light colors, and vessels made from natural, clean materials.

I write from the depths of my heart — throughout my brother's wedding journey, every time he was a little broken and showed anxiety, I tried to remind him of what matters most: 'That you get to walk with Lotam, your heart's choice, to the chuppah' — and everything else is irrelevant.

And I wondered how I, as a sister and owner of a product design studio, could create something special, different, that would bring her joy. So especially for this celebration, we created bridal gift boxes in the studio — magical, beautifully designed, emotional, and of lasting value.

Without a doubt, brides and grooms of 2020-2021, you have strong hearts and faith. I'm certain that after such a year, you will know only joy, happiness, and a loving partnership.
